How to Become a High School Equivalency Testing Center

The Texas State Board of Education (SBOE) has authorized 91Èȱ¬ to contract with GED Testing Service to provide the GED test for individuals to earn the Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency (TxCHSE). Tests may only be administered by 91Èȱ¬-authorized testing centers under Texas Administrative Code Ìý Official Testing Centers.Ìý

NOTE:ÌýEducational Testing Service (ETS)Ìýnotified 91Èȱ¬ and the SBOE that they would not administer the HiSET test in Texas after 8/31/2021. The last day to take a HiSET test in Texas was 8/31/2021.Ìý
